Sydney-based Māori organisation offering kapa haka performances, consultancy, services, and cultural exchange

Current Focuses

Building a strong and sustainable future

At Te Aranganui, we are thrilled to be gearing up for the 9th National Kapa Haka competition, set to take place in the Gold Coast on April 20. With our dedicated adult team in intense training, excitement is building as we prepare to showcase the rich Māori cultural heritage at the largest festival of its kind in Australia.

In addition to our intense preparation for the upcoming cultural festival, we are also engaged in ongoing partnerships with various organisations, allowing us to maintain our essential day-to-day operations. These collaborations enable us to continue our business as usual (BAU) work, ensuring that we effectively fulfil our organisational responsibilities and commitments.

Furthermore, our organisation is focused on expansion. We are actively seeking opportunities to broaden our service offerings and are on the lookout for strategic partnerships and funding. By doing so, we aim to not only sustain but also enhance our ability to serve and support the community through our valuable initiatives.

As we continue to make strides in these multiple areas, we are committed to delivering cultural excellence, maintaining fruitful partnerships, and expanding our capacity to serve the community. Stay tuned for more updates on our journey!
